Hi there all Room 27 parents and families. We have a great new classroom up among the treetops and we have settled in really nicely. We had 33 class members until yesterday when our Finnish friend, Johannes left to go home. We are hoping to hear from him when he gets back to Finland so that we can correspond with his school.
You probably know that our whole school topic for the year is Treasure/Treasuring. It is also our school's 140th birthday this year.
We have already produced lots of quality work connected to our theme. We have all published a booklet with three pieces of writing:-

We have been working carefully on self portraits which show our multiple intelligences. You should come to our classroom sometime to see our efforts. We are going to try to post some photos of our amazing work so you can view them here. We hope you will enjoy them. Please be patient. We are still learning these techniques. At least our teacher is!
